CIGNA SATELLITE OFFICE

Cigna's satellite office focused on prioritizing the productivity and the well-being of its employees.

To achieve this goal, the office incorporates geophony sounds across its open floor plan since exposure to natural sounds, particularly those with minimal acoustic variation, can effectively mitigate stress levels and significantly enhance cognitive performance. Workstations are strategically positioned close to allow seamless team collaboration. This deliberate arrangement allows for easy access to various generations within the office, facilitating the swift exchange of knowledge and fostering efficiency. Additionally, the availability of non-dedicated hot desking spaces offers a heightened degree of flexibility, enabling employees to choose between working in-office or remotely. With approximately 40% of Cigna’s employees opting to work from home, this flexibility is instrumental in increasing productivity levels.

Cigna's new office space takes cues from the soothing hues of green and blue found in natural landscapes to evoke a sense of tranquility and harmony, providing employees with a refreshing retreat from the demands of the modern workplace. Through the strategic use of natural materials, and the integration of elements such as living walls and ample daylighting, the design aspires to create an immersive experience that aligns with Cigna's commitment to holistic well-being and employee satisfaction.
